TrackMyCrime

TrackMyCrime – is a new on-line service for victims of crime.

As part of our commitment to finding innovative new ways to communicate with the public, we have launched a new online service called TrackMyCrime. The service will be offered to all victims of crime in Avon and Somerset to allow them track the investigation of their crime as it happens.

Offering greater choice

TrackMyCrime won't replace speaking to a police officer in person, if you want to, but it will give you more choice about how and when you get information from the police if you are a victim of crime.

Faster and more efficient

TrackMyCrime will enable us to provide you with faster and more efficient service if you have been a victim of crime. You will be able to access information about the current status of your crime on-line in the same way you might expect when accessing your bank or mobile phone account online.

More convenient

In the past victims have had to wait for the police officer investigating their crime to contact them with updates. Often this could be at times that weren't convenient to them. TrackMyCrime will send your information to the website as soon as it's inputted onto the police computer system and you will be automatically alerted to updates on your case via a text or email alert. You can then access this information at a time that is convenient to you.

The service will be offered to victims of crime when their crime or incident is reported.
