This beat is predominantly the large housing estate of North Worle. However, the large open ground known as Castle Batch is covered by the same beat manager. The area covered is from the boundary of the Queensway at Kewstoke to the area of the Homebase buildings prior to St George, including all areas north of the Queensway, Beckett, Wansborough, Walford and off the adjacent roads. Problems mainly relate to burglary.

2 Speeding motorists in Ebdon Road, Worle.
3. Damage being caused to childrens play areas.

Community Centre, Castle Batch
The Community Centre gates at Castle Batch will be locked at 8pm daily; you can access the site by foot via St Mark's Road or Becket Road. By doing this it is hoped that it will stop anti-social behaviour by nuisance vehicle users.

Visit us at the Campus Police Office
The Campus Police Office will be staffed every Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 11am, and open to all members of the public who wish to discuss their concerns, report an incident or generally make comment about the priorities they wish police to concentrate on. The Campus is in Highlands Lane (behind Morrisons) and is open 8am to 10pm weekdays, 8am to 5pm weekends.

LAT meetings / Beat surgeries (North Worle)
Local Action Team (LAT) meetings, which also act as the PACT panel, are held at 7.30pm at Priory School on the second Monday of the month. Prior to this meeting, from 7pm to 7.30pm, there is a short beat surgery should any member of the public like to come and just discuss any matter privately, rather than in the open forum of the LAT meeting.

Beat surgeries at Worle Library
A beat surgery is held the library every other Thursday, from 10am to 12noon. Please feel free to come and discuss any problem you feel we can help with. PCSO Jan Jenkins or PC Jim Murray will be available, and we will be sharing the beat surgery with our colleagues from Central Worle and Milton, so someone will always be available to speak to you.
