Taking in Claverham Village, the Yatton beat is a mix of residential and retail properties with several larger factory and business premises. The village has an infant and a junior school. It has the main B3133 road running through the centre of the village.

1. Anti-social behaviour and criminal damage
Hangstones Park / Stowey Road / Cherry Grove / Rock Road and bus stop on High Street.

2. Road Safety
Claverham Road and Stowey Road.
Speedwatch is currently in place to combat speeding.

3. Dog fouling
Along Strawberry Line.
Lead agency is Environmental Health Dept at North Somerset District Council. D Mawn 01934 888888.

Exploring the dangers of drugs - with Tim, Nick, Wayne and Lorraine (Forcewide)
Two new cartoons explaining the dangers of drugs have been produced by Avon and Somerset Police to educate teenagers about the risks of misusing illegal substances.

Community Policing Award winners 2008

Awards for police excellence are launched (Avon and Somerset)
The hunt is on to find the "Best on the Beat" with the launch of the third annual Community Policing Awards, jointly organised by Avon and Somerset Police Authority and Constabulary.

Beat surgery information (Cleeve, Kingston Seymour, Kenn, Yatton)
We will attend as many of the Parish Council and Local Action Team (LAT) meetings as possible, depending on operational commitments, as we do not currently run a beat surgery.
