Partners and Communities Together (PACT) gives you the opportunity to influence what happens in your neighbourhood. It is a mechanism whereby neighbourhood issues, identified through local meetings, are taken to a partnership panel, where courses of action are agreed. Find out more.

If you are unable to attend a meeting but would like to make your views known, please Register your local priorities.

Outcomes

Updates from previous PACT priorities :

Promotion of Neighbourhood Watch
A meeting has been held for the NHW Coordinators, attended by four coordinators from Pensford, Chew Magna and Chew Valley. Discussions took place around the best way to keep 'Watch' members updated.

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Pensford and Norton Lane
* There have not been any reported incidents from the date of the last meeting up to 14 July.
* Calls relating to Whitchurch play areas have been more to do with litter than damage.
* High visibility patrols have been taking place in all three areas; these will continue.
* ASB has reduced considerably following this action. When officers attend there is no one in the area 95% of the time.

Traffic speed on Sutton Hill Road
* A letter regarding this issue was hand delivered to the residents of this road. No responses were received to indicate that residents have been affected by speeding.
* High visibility static speed checks; words of advice given to one local driver. The beat team have been spending time on foot patrol as well as in vehicles monitoring speed.
