Yeovil West beat covers the western part of Yeovil town and is the area that borders Preston Road / Larkhill Road to the west, Ilchester Road to the east and Thorne Lane to the north.

The beat area includes Yeovil College, Westfield Community School and Preston School.

1. Raglan Terrace, criminal damage and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
Recent reports of ASB and criminal damage to the balcony and drainpipes of Raglan Terrace. Also ASB reported by residents who are experiencing youths entering the building and banging on doors.

2. Mini motos - Westfield area
Recent reports of young males seen riding mini motos in the area.

3. Anti-social behaviour (ASB) - Yeovil Recreation Ground - Mudford Road
Complaints of groups gathering during hours of darkness, drinking alcohol. Operation Flake (open space patrols) will continue to tackle ASB issues in the area.

Police are warning residents to be aware of a scam which promises the recipient a council tax refund :-
