North Somerset district > Nailsea neighbourhood area > Barrow Gurney beat

The parish of Barrow Gurney is located between the main A370 and A38, and also includes a large area along the A38 corridor.

The small village is a thriving community which is very self-sufficient and has its own shop, pub and village hall. As well as being used by commuters, many residents are employed locally.

Agriculture and farming still play a large part in village life.

The nearest police stations are shown below. The station providing policing for this beat is Nailsea Police Station, Stockway South, Nailsea.
