Somerset West district > Burnham-on-Sea neighbourhood area

The Burnham-on-Sea Neighbourhood Area covers the north Sedgemoor area of approximately 350 square miles with a population of 39,000 distributed mostly in Burnham, Highbridge and Cheddar. The Neighbourhood Area encompasses 19 town and parish councils and sits within the Sedgemoor District Council boundary.

The Neighbourhood Area stretches from the beaches at Burnham-on-Sea, Berrow and Brean (which host the second largest camping and caravanning location in Europe), to the Mendip Hills and Cheddar Gorge.
