The Park Mark® Safer Parking Scheme is an initiative of the Associations of Chief Police Officers (ACPOs) and is aimed at reducing both crime and the fear of crime in parking facilities. The scheme is managed by the British Parking Association (BPA) in association with the Home Office and ACPO.

Look for the Park Mark® tick to ensure safer parking.

Safer Parking status, Park Mark®, is awarded to parking facilities that have met the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the police.

• Over 3700 award-holding car parks throughout the UK.
• Award holders include car parks in shopping centres, hospitals, hotels, and train stations.
• Car parks have been assessed to ensure that they are properly managed and maintained.
