New buildings and refurbishments

Contact your local Crime Reduction Officer who will put you in touch with an Architectural Liaison Officer. Much can be done at the design and construction stage of a new building to reduce crime.

Architectural liaison officers work to a standard known as ‘Secured By Design’. This is the highest security standard for building and refurbishment. Using the free service of your local architectural liaison officer to build SBD principles into your place of worship, will ensure that your building has and maintains the best standards of security.
