This service can give you support, help and information. They will discuss the practical and legal options available, and if you wish, refer you to a local Women's Aid refuge and advice service, or other sources of help. Lines open 10am to 5pm Mon to Fri.

Victim Support - 0845 3030 900

Provides information and support to victims of all recorded crimes, including domestic violence, harassment and sexual crimes. Callers can be referred to their local Victim Support Scheme which may be able to provide further help. Lines open 9am to 9pm Mon to Fri. 9am to 7pm Weekends. 9am to 5pm Bank Holidays.

Can provide help, advice and support. May also be able to refer women and children to refuges nationwide. Lines open 24-hrs-a-day, 365 days-a-year.

Offers emergency accommodation, outreach support and help and advice for anyone who has experienced domestic violence.

 

Well Woman information - 0117 941 3311

6 West Street, St Phillips, Bristol. Provides health information, counselling and advice. Lines open Tues and Weds 9.30am to 12.00pm.

 

Next Link Domestic Abuse Services - 0117 925 1811

Next Link provides temporary and permanent housing for single women who have mental health needs and are looking for support. They also have safe housing for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. The women housed may be homeless, living in temporary accommodation or in housing that is inappropriate for their needs.
