Avon and Somerset Constabulary will be updating this website with live news, views and features from the festival site at Worthy Farm throughout Glastonbury 2010 but will also be keeping you posted with progress and advice in the lead up to the festival.

As well as crime reduction initiatives, the latest festival crime figures and all public information from on site, these pages will also give an insight into what it is like to police one of Europe's biggest musical events.

Welcome

Glastonbury Festival is one of Europe's biggest outdoor festivals of music and culture. For one week in June every year Avon and Somerset Police set up camp at Worthy Farm in Pilton to make sure the event is safe and crime-free for all festival-goers.

Glastonbury Festival 2010 is due to take place from June 23 to 27 with the festival police operation running from June 19 to July 2. Planning for the 2010 event is now well underway but if you want to relive the fun from previous years then visit our gallery or blog or try and spot yourself on HorseCam – the police horse’s view of the event.

Keep checking back this website over the coming months for updates, news and advice in the run up to the festival as well as great prizes to be won in our competitions.

Glasto is all wrapped up, but you can still enjoy HorseCam and the gallery
