Welcome

Glastonbury Festival is one of Europe's biggest outdoor festivals of music and culture. For one week in June every year Avon and Somerset Police set up camp at Worthy Farm in Pilton to make sure the event is safe and crime-free for all festival-goers.

Glastonbury Festival 2009 has now been and gone with plenty of highs across the weekend. As well as stunning performances from musical superstars such as Bruce Springsteen, Blur and Prodigy, Avon and Somerset Police was also pleased with the success of the festival as crime was down!

Planning for the 2010 event will now get underway, but if you want to relive Glastonbury 2009 take a look at our photo gallery, see if you can spot yourself on HorseCam or revisit our blog.
