Please note: This Neighbourhood Policing Team is for the Glastonbury Festival only. Residents of Glastonbury/Pilton should use the Wells neighbourhood area
The Glastonbury Festival site will have its own dedicated Safer, Stronger Neighbourhood Team.
Safer, Stronger Neighbourhood (SSN) teams now operate across the force and the Glastonbury officers will be out and about across the site speaking to
festival goers and dealing with any issues they might have.
They will be holding beat surgeries daily as well as offering crime reduction advice.
Chief Inspector Tony Bauer, who is leading the team, said: "While people are having a good time at the event, we know that some people might have cause
to seek police advice or report a crime.
"While the normal crime reporting procedure at the police compound will be still be in place, we hope people will approach us and speak to us if
they have any issues.
"Making the festival safe and interacting with festival goers are our number one priorities."
The team can be emailed before the event or spoken to at Glastonbury itself.
The festival SSN Team are purely for those inside the festival site and not for the wider community of Pilton and the surrounding villages.
Their contact will remain with the usual SSN team in the area led by Sergeant Jim Waugh.
