Text Registration Competition
The Text Registration Competition will run from 2 June to 30 June 2009.
Entrants must be resident in the UK and must be over the age of 16 years from 2 June 2009.
The closing date of the competition is 30th June 2009, and the winner shall be selected randomly at midday on the 1st July 2009
from all registrations for the Police Text Update service.
One top prize winner will receive a prize of an iPod Nano and two runners up will win £25 of iTunes Vouchers.
Immobilise Competition
The Immobilise Competition will run from 2 June to 28 June 2009.
Entrants must be resident in the UK and must be over the age of 16 years from 2 June 2009.
The closing date of the competition is 28th June 2009, and the winner shall be selected randomly at midday on the 30th June 2009
from Glastonbury registrations on the immobilise database during this period.
One top prize winner will receive a prize of a Nintendo DSi and ten runners up will win £50 of iTunes Vouchers.
Glastonbury survival Pack Competition
The Glastonbury survival Pack Competition will run from 2 June to 20 June 2009.
Entrants must be resident in the UK and must be over the age of 16 years from 2 June 2009.
The closing date of the competition is 18th June 2009, and the winner shall be selected randomly at midday on the 19th June 2009
from all entrants who have answered questions correctly.
The winner will receive a prize of: Two person tent, Selk bag (a sleeping bag suit), Camping Chair, Air Bed, Wellington Boots, Flip-flops,
Backpack, Sunscreen, Torch, Waterproofs, Sunhat, and most importantly... Toilet Paper!
General competition terms and conditions
Avon and Somerset Constabulary reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel and, or withdraw this competition at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to select an alternative prize or voucher of equivalent value. No cash equivalent to the prize shall be provided. The
prize or voucher are not transferable, must be taken as stated and shall not be sold to a third party.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this competition or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute,
Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s decision shall be final.
The winner(s) must respond to our prize notification on 19th June 2009; if you do not respond you will no longer be eligible for a prize
and that prize will be re-drawn. The winner will be asked to provide their shoe size for the wellington boots and flip-flops.
Upon acceptance by the winner(s), the prize shall be despatched to the address provided by the winner(s) using the Royal Mail Special
Delivery Service. We shall not be liable for any delay, loss and or any claim arising from the postage. Incidental expenses incurred in
claiming prizes shall be the responsibility of the winner(s).
Entry to the draw is limited to one entry per question per person. The competition is not open to the employees and their immediate
families of Avon and Somerset Constabulary and Avon and Somerset Police Authority.
We give no warranty or guarantee in relation to any prize arising from the competition and or the use of the prize in respect of injury,
loss or damage of any kind so far as it is permitted by law.
The terms and conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction
of English Courts.
