1. How many fixed penalty tickets were issued to drivers caught by fixed and mobile cameras in the calendar year 2010?

2. How many of these tickets were paid and what was the total income collected?

3. In addition, for each month in 2011, how many tickets were issued?

Answer

1. How many fixed penalty tickets were issued to drivers caught by fixed and mobile cameras in the calendar year 2010?
129,719 tickets were issued in 2010.

2. How many of these tickets were paid and what was the total income collected?
The total number of offences paid by Fixed Penalty was 60,873 and these would have consisted of a £60 fine and 3 penalty points. However, people also pay for educational courses and any fines that are appointed by the courts therefore this is not a complete total figure.

3. In addition, for each month in 2011, how many tickets were issued?
January - 7388, February - 8103, March - 6444, April - 1283, May - 488, June - 601, July - 598, August - 461, September - 545, October - 755, November - 4631and December - 6796.

4. How many of these tickets have been paid and what was the total income collected?
The total number of offences paid by way of a Fixed Penalty in 2011was 24,743 and these would have consisted of a £60 fine and 3 penalty points, however, people also pay for educational courses and any fines that are appointed by the courts therefore this is not a complete total figure.
