This beat is bounded by Whiteway Road to include Haycombe Cemetery and Southdown. There is a large social housing development within the Haycombe Drive and Rosewarn Close development. There is a shopping complex situated within Mount Road, to either side of which lies a large area of residential housing.

Police Beat Surgery (Southdown and Twerton)
The Whiteway and Twerton Police Beat Teams will be holding a surgery every month at Southside Youth Centre, Kelston View, Whiteway from 10am until 11am on the following dates: Friday 15th of March, Friday 5th of April, Friday 17th May and Friday 7th June. Please come along and discuss local issues and concerns.

1) To repair and regularly maintain the CCTV system on Mount Road. Paul Crossley (Councillor)

2) To enforce the parking restrictions outside the shops on Mount Road. Council

3) Replace the weight restriction road sign on Mount Road to deter HGV's using it. Council

4) Change the white 'keep clear' lines on Mount Road to double yellow. Council

5) Overgrowing hedge obstructing footpath outside an address in Southdown. Council

6) To replace the litter bin at the junction of Rosewarn Close and Haycombe Drive. Council

School Beat surgeries (Southdown Junior School)
Surgeries are held at Southdown Junior School between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on the first Thursday of every month. Open to school staff, parents/carers and pupils.

Councillor Surgeries (Southdown)
The surgeries are held at the Methodist Church from 10am to 11am on the first Saturday of the month.
