The image shows an open gate, leading towards a low building made of light stone, with a brown roof and two skylights. There is a grassed area in front of the building, and the tops of several parked vehicles can be seen. There is another similar building to the right and a white sign in front of the gate, over which is the text Bathavon South beat Cranium Caviar

Partners and Communities Together (PACT) gives you the opportunity to influence what happens in your neighbourhood. It is a mechanism whereby neighbourhood issues, identified through local meetings, are taken to a partnership panel, where courses of action are agreed. Find out more.

If you are unable to attend a meeting but would like to make your views known, please Register your local priorities.

Current public priorities

Agreed 23rd April 2010

1. Suspicious behaviour within Englishcombe.
2. Speeding around Meadgate in Camerton.
3. Pedestrian warning signs at Skinners Hill in Camerton.

Lead Agencies: Police and B&NES.

Outcomes

Hinton Charterhouse - A36, Branch Road and Green Lane - Speed of traffic
PC Bendall has not had a reply from Traffic Management Dept. PC Bendall has monitored traffic and not recorded any speeding. Location is not suitable for Community Speed Watch as there are no pavements and it's a 60mph road.

Dunkerton - B3110 - Inconsiderate parking on the pavements
PC Gardiner and Beat Team have issued Police Warning notices and as a result there has been a marked decrease in vehicle parking on pavements. There were no repeat offenders which warranted no Fixed Penalty Notices issued. Members of Dunkerton Community want to note to the Panel that there has been a noticed difference and wanted to thank PC Gardiner and his team.

Hinton Charterhouse - B3115 - Badly damaged road surface on the bend by the Dog Kennels
B&NES Highways reported the road surface has not been repaired yet. Gone into 2010/2011 Budget yet to be approved?
