Waley-Cohen Award

In 1965 Mr. M.H. Waley-Cohen of Exford in Somerset, in his capacity as a Trustee of a family trust, endowed a sum of money to the Somerset Constabulary with which to set up a new fund.

This award is for those who perform some action in support of law and order. Such action should go beyond what one would normally expect from a member of the public (including members of other services).

Recommendations for Waley-Cohen Certificates reflect the value we place on any help we receive from the public.
