Police release new images in Rico murder investigation (7 February 2012)

Police have released some new images which show vehicles and people in and around Stapleton Road at the time Rico Gordon was murdered.

Rico, who was 21, and from London was killed on Stapleton Road, Bristol on Sunday 3 July 2011 after the St Paul's Carnival.

Officers continue to work closely with his family, the Metropolitan Police and Operation Trident to progress the enquiry.

The CCTV images include a white Vauxhall Combo van which is believed to have been parked near to the scene at the time of the shooting and then drove away soon afterwards.

The occupant(s) may have vital information for the investigation team so police are urging them to come forward. The van has a non standard sticker or logo on the bottom right of the rear doors.
