Murder of Dean Jeffery

Dean Jeffery was assaulted in the Ridgeway Parade area of Fishponds on September 21, 2006 – the day before his 39th birthday. His injuries were so serious Mr Jeffery died just over a week later.


Mr Jeffery’s death has devastated his family who are desperate to see someone brought to justice for his murder.

The night Mr Jeffery was assualted

Between 8.30pm and 9pm four people were seen talking to each other on Fishponds Road opposite the junctions of Oakdene Avenue and Huyton Road.


They included a woman aged in her late teens, a man who was walking a dog – possibly a Staffordshire bull terrier, and two other men, one of whom was pushing a bike.


The man with the dog and the man on the bike walked up Fishponds Road towards Ridgeway Parade and the woman walked into Huyton Road with the other man.


In addition, a man was spotted sitting on a bus stop on Fishponds Road between Marlborough Road and Ridgeway Road. He is yet to come forward, but could prove to be a witness to any suspicious activity taking place in the area.
