Historic Sexual Offences Against Children Crimes and Outcomes in 2016/17

Question

How many recorded crimes have there been of non-recent sex offences against under 18s over the last financial year 2016/17? Non-recent is defined as when the offence is alleged to have occurred more than a year before it was reported.

What were the outcomes of these recorded offences?

Answer

We have identified 342 sexual offences that were recorded more than year tear after the offence date whereby the victim was aged less than 18 years. Please see the recorded outcomes of the crimes in the table below. The remainder are under investigation.
