It has come to my attention that on the 16th April 2015 Julian Kern (Director of Finance) claimed an amount of £169.75 for “Room Hire – Regional HR Directors Meeting.” (In the Director of Finance’s Expenses). In these days of austerity and Police budget cuts I am surprised that room hire was paid for when there are a large number of police owned properties throughout the country.
As public money has been used to facilitate this meeting I would expect accountability in the form of minutes taken. I request the date, location and minutes of the meeting together with a list of attendees.
Please find the notes and agenda attached, which details the date and location of the meeting. The list of attendees has not been identified. The costs for these meetings are shared by the region.
