1) How many serving police officers employed within your force have criminal convictions?
1b) What are these criminal convictions?
1c) How many police officers with those convictions were convicted whilst being a serving officer for your force and in which year were they convicted?
Q1. A total of 13 serving police officers have criminal convictions. Of these, nine of the convictions are historic and the officers had these convictions prior to joining the constabulary. The circumstance of each case is considered on an individual basis and in these cases, a decision was made that the conviction did not compromise the individuals’ roles as police officers.
Q1(b). The criminal convictions are as follows:
Q1(c). Four of the serving police officers with convictions were convicted while serving. Please see the below for the years in which they were convicted.
