M5 RTA Figures

Question

1. The number of accidents there have been on the M5 between junction 17 and 19 (Cribbs Causeway and Portishead) in the past five years.

2. The number of fatalities there have been on this part of the M5 in the past month; year; two years; or most recent data you can acquire.

3. A breakdown of how the total number accidents were caused i.e. drink or drug driving, not looking properly, speeding etc.

4. A breakdown of the casualties i.e. pedestrians, motorcyclists, lorry drivers etc.

5. A breakdown of the casualties injuries i.e. killed, seriously injured, KSI.

6. A comparison with other junctions on the M5. Whether this is an accident blackspot and if so, how does it compare with other blackspots in the country?

Clarification received:

I would like to compare it to other junctions in Somerset, Bristol and Gloucestershire. Is there any way of accessing information for the accidents on this stretch? I don't know how else I would be able to find out whether this is an accident blackspot.

The statistics I would compare would be just the number of accidents.
