We are looking to recruit Vehicle Installation Engineer following the Constabulary’s plan to rollout digital mobilisation. This will see a high proportion of the fleet become Wi-Fi enabled.
The successful Candidate will be required to design, install, maintain and remove police radio, mobile phone, communication systems and emergency services equipment. You will produce documentation of installation and testing of equipment, in accordance with the Police Vehicle Installation Code of Practice and FCS1362 Code of Practice for the installations of mobile radio equipment.
You must have good working knowledge of MS Office and have sound understanding and experience of vehicle installation and auto electrics. The attached Job Description provides further details.
The position may, at times, require the post holder to support the commissioning team with both installation and de-installation of existing vehicle equipment
