Appeal to trace caravan stolen from terminally-ill man – Pilning

A marked police car

We’re appealing for help to trace a caravan stolen from a terminally-ill man.

The 64-year-old was storing his Bailey Pageant Bordeaux caravan while undergoing treatment.

Thieves stole the caravan from a field behind the Plough in Pilning just before before 10.30pm on Sunday 25 November. They were using a dark-coloured 4×4 vehicle.

Neighbourhood PC Ross Calderwood is investigating.

He said: “The family have been using the caravan to get away and create memories. This theft has been devastating for them. I would ask anyone with information which could help us trace the caravan or the thieves to get in touch, quoting reference 5218262745.”

If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5218262745
