Appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following serious collision in Bath

We’re keen to hear from people who may have witnessed a serious road traffic collision in Bath yesterday (Thursday 10 January).

The incident on Lansdown Road happened shortly before 9.30am and involved a Black Fiat 500 and a Land Rover Discovery. The Fiat was travelling away from the racecourse towards Bristol and the Land Rover from the Freezing Hill area towards the racecourse.

The collision between the two vehicles happened at the junction of Cotswold Way – the entrance to Avon Fire and Rescue.

The driver of the Fiat suffered serious multiple injuries and remains in hospital with potential life-changing injuries.

We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who saw the incident or any motorists who may have captured the incident on dashcams.
