BBC Crimewatch Roadshow has publicised an appeal this morning to help us find wanted man James Doran.

Doran, 34, who also uses the aliases James Delaney and John Delaney, has been wanted since August 2014 after failing to appear at Bristol Crown Court for sentencing.

He’d previously admitted three counts of fraud relating to rogue trader offences in Bristol between June 2012 and January 2013.

In one case an elderly couple from the St George area of Bristol were quoted £20,000 for work on their home, but the price was gradually increased until they ended up paying £54,000. The building work carried out was so poor it had to be pulled down.

Doran was arrested at the scene after the victims’ son saw the state of the work and called the police.

Since the court case one of the victims has sadly died and his wife is very keen for Doran to be traced.

Doran is described as white, 5ft 7ins, of a heavy build, with light brown hair (sometimes dyed), green eyes. He speaks with an Irish accent and has tattoos of crosses on both arms with the names ‘Elizabeth’ and ‘Ellie’.

He has connections with Cardiff and Ireland.

If you see James Doran, please call 999 and give the call handler the reference number 921213. If you know where he may be, please call 101 and give the same reference number.
