Appeal after collision leaves elderly couple in hospital – Bristol

We’re appealing for witnesses and any dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage following a serious injury collision in Bristol.

It happened on Hotwell Road at about 12.50pm on Sunday 7 April and involved a car and two pedestrians.

A man and a woman, both in their 70s, remain in a critical condition in hospital.

The driver, a man in his 60s, went to hospital and was released after treatment.

The road was closed until 7.30pm while emergency services dealt with the incident.

We’re keen to hear from anyone who saw the manner of driving of a blue Nissan Almera leading up to the collision.
