Woman jailed after 90-year-old dies in fatal collision in Clevedon

A 35-year-old woman who crashed a van into a house killing its 90-year-old resident has been jailed for four years.

Tracy Bibby was banned from driving at the time of the crash at the home of Joan Woodier in Yeolands Drive, Clevedon, on 18 April 2018.

Mrs Woodier died after the front wall of her house collapsed on her.

Bibby was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and causing death by driving while disqualified following a trial.

At Bristol Crown Court today (May 24), Bibby was jailed for four years and disqualified from driving for six years.
