Witnesses sought following serious collision on A37

Appeal for witnesses

We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Somerset near to Shepton Mallet.

It happened yesterday (Wednesday 19 June) shortly after 11am on the A37 at Long Hill.

A Chevrolet Matiz was travelling southbound and a Rover 111 northbound.

The Matiz is reported to have crossed the centre of the road and was in a head-on collision with the Rover.

The woman driver of the Rover and two men who were in the Matiz all suffered potential life changing injuries and remain in hospital.
