Man charged with assaulting police officers in Bath

A 30-year-old man has been charged following an incident in Bath in which officers were threatened with a knife.

The incident happened when officers attended a property in the Moorlands area of the city at about 12.30am on Tuesday (July 23) following a report of a disturbance.

The officers were not harmed during this incident.

Ricky Alby Webb, of Rudgeway Road, Paulton, has been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker and he’ll appear before Bath Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 7 August.
