Man charged with attempted murder following Bristol stabbing

We’ve charged a 32-year-old man with attempted murder after an incident in Bristol on Tuesday (9 July).

A 16-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times on St Gabriel’s Road shortly before 9pm. He remains in hospital receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

Rashid Ahmed Mohammed, of St John’s Lane, Bedminster, was charged last night and will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court this morning (Saturday, 13 July).

A 28-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the incident and he has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
