Teenager charged with attempted murder in Yeovil

An 18-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing incident in Yeovil at the weekend. 

Eimantas Sakalaukskis of Glenthorne Avenue, Yeovil, is to appear at Yeovil Magistrates Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday 27 August). 

He has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife, blade, sharp pointed article in a public place. 

It follows an incident in which a 48-year-old woman was stabbed as she walked near to the junction of St Michaels Avenue and Sherborne Road at about 3am on Saturday.
