Man charged in connection with assaults on officers on Saturday 1 May

A 35-year-old man has been charged with five counts of assaulting an emergency worker.

Christian Jackson, of Jamaica Street in Bristol, was charged last night (Sunday 2 May) and released on bail to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15 July.

The charges relate to incidents in which officers were assaulted in High Street, Bristol, on Saturday evening (1 May).
