Trinity Road Police Station opens at weekends

Added on 17 March 2017 at 14:06

Trinity Road Police Station is now open seven days a week, from 10am to 6pm. It joins three other Bristol police stations which are open every day.

The community of St Philips have told us that having a police station in this area is very important and we have listened. We are committed to retaining a police station in this area and increasing our opening hours demonstrates this.

Services offered here include crime reporting, crime prevention advice, road traffic collision reporting, lost and found property and general policing enquiries.

Superintendent Rhys Hughes said: “We are delighted to see Trinity Road open seven days a week. The enquiry office receives a high number of visitors and it is an important location for us, in the heart of the community.

“It is important for us to be visible and for the community to know we are here if they need us.“

Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens said: “Local people continually tell me the importance of having Trinity Road Police Station in the heart of their community.  I’m aware both the station and local team are incredibly valued by residents.  I’m therefore delighted that the station has extended its opening hours to seven days a week.  I know this will mean a great deal to the local residents of St Philips and the surrounding communities.”

Outside of these opening hours, you can contact the police in a number of other ways. If it is not an emergency, visit our website at www.avonandsomerset.police.uk or if you don’t have internet access, call 101. You could also join us at one of our community meetings – for more information about meetings in your area visit www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/your-area.
