CCTV stills released in robbery inquiry

Added on 19 June 2017 at 15:52

We’re renewing our appeal following a robbery at a travel agents in Bristol earlier this month.

At approximately 5.30pm on June 9 a man entered the shop in Henleaze Road and threatened staff, asking for cash.

He then left the shop with a significant amount of money. This male has then proceeded on foot along Cardigan Road, crossing Henleaze Road towards Henley Grove.

Today, we’re issuing CCTV stills of a man we would like to speak to in connection with this inquiry.

The suspect is described as a male possibly Asian or Mediterranean in appearance about 5ft 10ins tall with short thick dark curly hair with chin stubble.

He was wearing a dark blue hooded top, a high viz jacket , dark coloured trousers & work boots. He had a white medical-style paper mask covering his mouth and was carrying a white plastic carrier bag.

After committing the robbery the male removed the high viz jacket.

We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who has information to help our enquiries.

We would particularly like to hear from anyone who can identify the male from the CCTV stills of the male after he removed the high viz jacket prior to entering Cardigan Road.
