Bag snatch in Henleaze – can you help?

Added on 29 August 2017 at 12:06

We are appealing for witnesses after a woman had her bag snatched by two people on a moped.

The woman was walking to work on St Albans Road in Henleaze, Bristol at around 6.45am on Friday (August 25) when two people, suspected to be male, on a dark coloured moped, mounted the pavement and snatched her bag. The woman was dragged a short distance down the pavement, receiving minor injuries, before the thieves made off with her bag and its contents. The victim saw the offenders ride off down White Tree Road.

A number of items from the victim’s bag were found later in The Crescent in Henleaze, and handed into police.

Did you see this incident take place?  Did you see the two people on the moped? Have you found the victim’s bag and purse (pictured)?
