A suspected drug dealer who has been making the lives of people in Knowle West a misery was arrested by officers today (October 19).
The 20-year-old from Bantry Road was arrested on Grinfield Avenue on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.
Yesterday, officers arrested a 28-year-old man from Dowland Grove in Knowle West after he was seen acting suspiciously in Withywood Road. He had more than 40 wraps of suspected crack cocaine on him and was arrested for the same offence.
Knowle West beat manager PC Andy Gilbert said: “The man arrested today has been the source of so many complaints.
"Nobody wants drug dealing happening outside their homes, whether it’s cannabis or class A," PC Gilbert
“I hope people are encouraged to see we act on the information we get and keep telling us what they know.”
