More than 140 ambitious young people from 21 schools across Avon and Somerset took over top police jobs today as part of the Children's Commissioners Takeover Challenge.
The aim of the nationwide challenge was to give young people an insight into the world of work, while organisations benefit from different thinking and a fresh perspective.
During the action-packed day, young people were put into decision-making positions like Chief Inspector, while others stepped into roles in intelligence, operations, custody, local policing and the Police and Crime Commissioners Team.
