With the relaxing of COVID restrictions, we are working with the local authority to manage anti-social behaviour in Grove Park.

If you have information about this issue please contact us using the contact form on our main beat page or call 101

Patrols of the park have taken place every shift that we are on duty.

It is one of our core patrol location and will remain so.

We have used our Anti-social Behaviour powers to place an order on people that have resulted in several people receiving custodial sentences.

We have also had reports since our takeover of the area in August that police presence has been markedly improved and issues have reduced, which is pleasing to hear.

  • Tuesday 3rd September, 2019

There has been an increased presence by our team since taking over on 1st August, which we are delighted has been reported by local businesses to have resulted in a reduction in issues in the park.

On 1st August we introduced ourselves to the park with an event for the local community.

We have also targeted a problematic individual who was causing significant issues and has secured a Criminal Behaviour Order on him banning him from the area, for which we have a significant number of breaches we are taking to court.
