Drug usage in public spaces

Following sightings, intelligence and a recent needle audit, the beat team is focusing on drug usage in open spaces. Officers continue to make checks in public toilets and support businesses where their toilets are used for drug taking. We are working with specialist policing units to make arrests for drug possession and supply in car parks and other open spaces.
