Coronavirus (COVID-19): the policing response and what you need to know

Managing ASB – Crime and Consequences

We have recently introduced a new ‘Crime and Consequences’ workshop for tackling challenging behaviour displayed by youths in our area.

For children who have been involved in anti-social behaviour or criminal activity it’s important that we respond to this by educating them on the seriousness of their actions and the consequences that follow. This workshop is to discuss the impact of a range of crimes and how serious the outcome can be. This raises awareness of the wider impact on victims, communities and the child’s family. We want to highlight that this behaviour can map out their future and hopefully deter them from following this path.

This has proven to be a useful tool in other areas of the force, we look forward to implementing this and monitoring its success.
