COVID Regulation breaches and Anti-social behaviour

We have continued to patrol during lockdown and have been responding  to reports of anti-social behaviour and COVID-19 breaches.


  • Tuesday 27th July, 2021

    Following the change to Covid Regulations on 19th July your neighbourhood Policing team are still patrolling the area and responding to any reports of breaches of track and trace isolation requirements.

  • Wednesday 16th June, 2021

    Your neighbourhood Policing Team have been continued to respond to reports of Breach of Covid Regulations and the extensions of the current regulations this week.

  • Tuesday 11th May, 2021

    Your Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to monitor and respond to reports of breach of Covid Regulations . We have also received reports of Beggars within the town. Your neighbourhood policing team have been engaging and offering support to persons and would request that you report any incidents via 101

  • Friday 5th March, 2021

    Your neighbourhood Policing Team are still responding to reports of breach of Covid Regulations with Advice and Penalty notices being issued where appropriate. Regulations will change next week 8th March and continue to change over the next few weeks and we will continue our community engagement

  • Friday 22nd January, 2021

    Last week Your neighbourhood Policing Team worked late shifts throughout the weekend and have issues Fixed Penalty Notices to people breaching Covid Regulations. we are continuing to respond and patrol the area responding to calls for Breaches of Covid Regulations

  • Thursday 14th January, 2021

    Whilst out on Patrol Your Neighbourhood Policing Team have issued a Penalty Notice for Breach of the current Regulations. we have also issued warning to others. we will continue to patrol the Towns engaging with the community however if you are out and about you will be challenged by us during this lock down and you risk being issued with a Penalty Notice for breaching the current Lockdown Restrictions .

  • Thursday 7th January, 2021

    Following new Tier 4  Lockdown changes with effect 6th January 2021 your local Neighbourhood Policing Team are patrol the area checking the legislation is being adhered to .

    we are asking for people to check the new legislation and Stay Home and Stay safe

  • Saturday 5th December, 2020

    with the Change in Covid Regulations with North Somerset Moving into tier 3. Clevedon Beat Team have been called to a group of people in a park they were in a group of 6 and were observing the correct regulations .we are continuing to respond to calls and engage with people and where necessary take action

  • Friday 13th November, 2020


    There has been a new Traffic order put on place by  North Somerset Council in All Saints Lane Clevedon and Valley Road Clevedon with restrictions for vehicles during the hours 8-4 which makes these roads Pedestrian and Cycle Zone please adhere to this . This has been put in place for a safer route to School .

    PCSOs have been patrolling the area and engaging with drivers and giving them advice regarding these news orders

  • Wednesday 14th October, 2020

    Reports have been received that visitors to Clevedon united Football club  have not been adhering to the rule of six when visiting the area . Clevedon Beat Team have been in contact with the Secretary of the club and a newsletter has been sent to all members regarding observing the regulations

  • Friday 9th October, 2020

    following the updated Covid Regulations regarding the requirement for Hospitality and business to close at 10pm

    The Beat Team have visited all Public Houses in Clevedon and Takeaway Establishments to make sure they are adhering to the Regulations

  • Tuesday 25th August, 2020

    Clevedon Beat team are continuing with patrols in the area and engaging with members of the public we are monitoring the situation regarding reports of groups of youths using the multi use gaming area and responding to calls by giving advice regarding gatherings

  • Thursday 18th June, 2020

    There has been further calls relating to COVID-19 breaches and the beat team have patrolling locations and giving members of the public advice regarding social gatherings

  • Tuesday 2nd June, 2020

    The cycle patrol on the beat are engaging with persons visiting Marine Lake giving advice on social distancing.
