Anti-social behaviour in Clifton including rough sleeping and begging

Incidents in Clifton of persons begging and rough sleeping in several locations across the beat.

Main locations: Princess Victoria Street, Queens Road, Boyces Avenue and Regent Street.

    Incidents continue and therefore this will remain a priority.

    Regular patrols to identify individuals involved and offer support as appropriate.

    If individuals continue to commit offences or cause a nuisance then appropriate action will be taken.

  • Thursday 15th October, 2020

    incidents of begging and rough sleeping have reduced but continue to cause issues, therefore priority to continue at this time.

  • Friday 17th July, 2020

    Regular patrols conducted , persons identified are referred to support agencies as appropriate. If those persons fail to engage and continue with their offending behaviours then appropriate punitive measures will be sought alongside the support still being offered.
