Coronavirus (COVID-19): the policing response and what you need to know

ASB off roading with 4×4’s, quad bikes and motorbikes

There have been complaints about off road vehicles driving and riding dangerously through woods and on bridleways around the Dunster and Wootten Courtney areas and other areas of Exmoor including Haddon Hill.  These put people on foot or riding horses or cycles at risk of harm.    We would not encourage you to challenge anyone.  Please do report if you see any of this activity with registration numbers and photos if possible.

We will be patrolling these areas to try and deter and enforce the rules.

We are joining forces with our Devon and Cornwall colleagues and an operation will be taking place to patrol and locate any of the vehicles that may be off roading. We are hoping to join forces with our specials and the Drone to help locate these vehicles. If you see the bikes being used on the public access moorland then please report this to us on 101.
