There has been an increase in drug dealing and Anti-social Behaviour(ASB) in the Frome Town area.

The public is encouraged to report any suspicious activity to the police by calling 101 or 999 if it is an emergency. Or you can email us using the contact form on our beat page.

  • Tuesday 23rd June, 2020

    We remain committed to carrying out multiple high visibility patrols in the area to reduce the incidents of anti-social behaviour and drug dealing the area.

  • Friday 29th May, 2020

    The Beat Team are continually working hard to address the issues of ASB and drug dealing  in the area by:

    • Increasing patrols in hot spot areas.
    • Information received from the public is processed and acted upon.
    • Working closely with partner agency’s to jointly share information and identify opportunities to deal with problem areas.
    •  Setting up Initiatives such as Facebook live beat surgeries.

    Reports have reduced however the team are still receiving reports of drug dealing within Frome.

    We would ask people in the area to keep reporting this and any other matters that concern them  using our beat team contact form.

  • Wednesday 22nd April, 2020

    The Neighbourhood Policing Team is working closely with the local housing team and our own ASB team to take positive action.

  • Tuesday 21st April, 2020

    The Neighbourhood Policing Team have increased their patrols in these areas.

    The Community Contact vehicle has also been parked up in various locations around the town to increase our visibility.
