Coronavirus (COVID-19): the policing response and what you need to know

Young Person Covid Related Breaches – Queens Road, Keynsham

A group is breaching Covid legislation by gathering. This group is also involved in anti-social behaviour and low level criminality. The local Neighbourhood Team have conducted stop searches to disrupt activities, parents have been given warnings that continued behaviour may result in the issuing of fixed penalty notices and the use of ASB powers will be discussed at an up-coming multi-agency meeting.

Actions

  • Saturday 16th January, 2021

    The action taken to curb the breaches of Covid legislation has proved effective. No further reports received. Despite this, the Keynsham Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to patrol the area to prevent any re-occurrence.

  • Saturday 19th December, 2020

    Anti-social behaviour legislation has been implemented to curb a number of young persons’ behaviour. Should further poor behaviour continue, then more stringent actions may be enforced.
