School traffic enforcement

We are making it a priority to patrol schools when it gets particularly busy during pick up and drop off times. We are ensuring individuals are parking safely when dropping children off at school and reminding parents and guardians it is important to not park where zig zags are laid out in the road.

Schools in Nailsea have been in contact with the local neighbourhood team to express their concerns around dangerous parking. Staff at these schools have witnessed dangerous overtaking where cars have stopped where they should not be, and this is particularly dangerous when these zig zags are laid out where a crossing is based.
