Anti-social Behaviour (ASB) in Woolavington

The local community has raised the issue of youths gathering in various locations in the village causing anti social behaviour. This appears to be an issue in the evening which the  local beat team are aware of and will be patrolling the area whilst working in partnership with housing providers to come up with a long term solution.

  • Saturday 2nd January, 2021

    The Beat Team are continuing to be proactive with reports of anti social behaviour. There has been a decrease in reports at this time.

     

  • Sunday 18th October, 2020

    We have increased patrols in the village and are dealing with incidents proactivity.

    We continue to work with the Dreamscheme and work very closely with local schools.

    We work closely with the youth worker in the village and support youth club which is now back up and running.

  • Tuesday 27th August, 2019

    Our Neighbourhood Policing team continue to patrol from Woolavington and work from the Village Hall when able.

    In addition, they have been working with local youths as part of the Dream scheme initiative.

  • Tuesday 9th July, 2019

    Alongside the ongoing ASB issues, the beat team with other agencies are trying to set up the Dreamscheme. which is part of youth engagement work.

  • Friday 3rd May, 2019

    The team continue to work from Woolavington Village Hall to liaise with the community about any ongoing concerns.
