There have been reports of anti-social behaviour(ASB) at Tesco where youths shouting and being abusive to staff and customers.

We have been conducting further patrols of the location, and reports of ASB have been greatly reduced.
We are still dealing with the group of youths so will continue to monitor the location.

Tuesday 25th February, 2020
We’ve not had any further reports for ASB at Tesco, Shepton Mallet.
We are, of course, continuing patrols at the location as well as working closely with Tesco’s to further reduce any reports in the future.
If you have any concerns, you would like to raise we are having another Beat Surgery at Tesco’s on Thursday 5th March 2020 at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

We have unfortunately had a further report which we are dealing with and working closely with our ASB and Tesco’s to deal with offences reported.
We are continuing patrols within the area.
If you are in the area and happen to witness any behaviour, please report this via 101, so we can take the appropriate action.
Our next beat surgery will be at Subway, Shepton Mallet on Tuesday 18th February 2020 between 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Patrols are being undertaken, and we have not had any further reports made in the last couple of weeks.

There are still offences ongoing but we have managed to identify all the offenders and are working closely with our ASB team to deal with offences reported.
Sunday 15th December, 2019
We have increased our patrols of the location and are working with Tesco’s staff to reduce further offences.
We have also arranged a monthly evening beat surgery as well to be a visible presence in the area.

If you witness any such behaviour. This should be reported to the police on 101 or if it is an emergency 999.
We are working closely with Tesco staff to reduce ASB and identify offenders. Should you witness any ASB please do report to us on number 101 so that we can deal with it effectively.
We will also be increasing patrols at the location.
